Safe small groups to learn with others. Julie Eickenroth served as a leader and teacher for the How to Stop the Pain study this year within My Sister's House, a non-profit home for young women. Julie offered her wisdom, knowledge and understanding of how judgment can cloud the truth from our God-given freedom, even by our own choices.
Julie proved to be instrumental in assisting several young ladies to a greater understanding of how we judge ourselves through choosing to know the reasons for anyone else's behavior, actions or words. I regard Julie as an excellent teacher of life skills and thank her for her dedication and commitment.

Powerful books impact lives. Two years ago, I gave a copy of Dr. Richards' book to our daughter as she was starting her new job. Last year she was promoted to Lead Production Artist for the L’Oreal Division, and last month was promoted to being the youngest manager in the companies history. As we spoke last night, she stated that she had read the book 3 times and was getting ready to read it again. From our conversations I can see how she has matured in the principles garnered from the book, and how she is using them to improve interpersonal relationships not only with those working under her, but also her superiors.
I read my book almost daily, and your class has had a great impact not only on my life, but my family's. Thanks for being you and your desire to help others. You have my gratitude forever!!!

HeartSkills™ Coaching. I thank God for the wisdom, direction and thoughtful insight I have received in my time spent with Julie. She is like a teacher, mom, and friend wrapped up in one person! Even though we are the same age, she is kind and gentle like one would picture a good mother would be. To me, it was just something I felt I needed.
One of the things that most stands out to me about Julie is the way she exudes honest joy, sincerity, and warmth that brings me out of my isolation and sets me free to share what's on my heart in a trusting and caring environment. She seems to have the ability to draw you out with not that much effort. And that is really something to a person with trust issues.
I appreciate her so much and all the wonderful insight and Godly advice she has given me that helps me handle the stressors that I haven't always known what to do with. Acquiring skills to live life successfully. Julie Eickenroth is an excellent teacher and personal coach. I have had opportunity to take 3-4 of her classes and also experience her help in personal coaching. We take all sorts of classes and attend conferences to further our careers, but sometimes neglect what is most important... the things of the heart and improving how we relate to people. Working through relational stuff. Having read a few books on developing healthy relationships, I wasn’t convinced Julie’s input would make much of a difference. I knew that love and forgiveness are imperative in relationship, but she helped give me a better grasp of what “love” really entails, HOW to apply it, and that it’s ok to protect myself from emotional harm.
Her listening ear, practical advice, and willingness to patiently wade with me through difficult situations left me with the power to draw healthy boundaries, communicate in love, and ultimately protect my connections, so I could love against all odds. "You are not meant for mediocrity." There are times when a life is forever changed by an experience. That experience came for me in the form of Julie Eickenroth. In 2007, she spoke six words to me that continue to manifest miracles in my life. "You are not meant for mediocrity." I remember this every time I feel inadequate, accused, weary, worn or beaten by the process of growth. These words continue to lift me out of the depths and remind me of who I really am. Julie is a woman who loves fearlessly and dares other women to do the same. I continue to meet that challenge even when I don't want to.

In crisis - faith and hope restored. I have always been a woman of faith but mine was in crisis. I was at a point that I did not know where to turn or what to believe. I was angry at my situation, the losses I had suffered, angry that life just did not seem to ever go my way. Depression had set in. It had decided to camp out, put its feet up and stay for the long haul. I had lost my joy.
I met Julie through a friend I had grown up with and had moved many miles away. We had reconnected via social media and through her, Julie and I started to converse and became friendly.
I cannot remember exactly how it happened, but (we) began to speak on the phone. She knew that I was lost, depressed, and sinking fast. Most of the outside world could not see this, but she did. We talked, or should I say, I talked, she listened. We prayed together. The first time she offered to do this, I was blown away. I cried, I laughed, I questioned. Julie did not give up, she questioned, she praised, and most of all she knew what I needed to find my way. There was no judgment or preaching. I felt safe - safe to express my anger, the questioning of my faith, the feeling of loss, of no place to go. I felt I no longer fit in anywhere in my life.
Although I was angry with God, God was not angry with me. Though our talks, I got my mojo back, my hope, and most importantly, my faith. Julie made me realize I had never lost it, just misplaced it. I found the missing pieces of the puzzle ... the black cloud in my soul had been lifted, and I started to feel that joy that comes with faith.
I will always be thankful that Julie took the time and interest in me, to help someone who did not feel there was any hope.
